Privacy Statement

Your privacy is very important. This Privacy Policy outlines Ashley Danyew's policies on how your personal information is collected on www.ashleydanyew.com ("Site") and used for services, courses, workshops, content, or resources ("Services"). When you use any of the Services offered and provide your personal information, you agree to the collection, storage, and use as described below.

1. Personal Information

Any information collected on this Site will never be sold or shared with third parties. Ashley Danyew does not collect any personal identifying information through this Site except when you specifically and intentionally provide the information (for instance, when you sign up for the email newsletter or submit a message through the contact form). Any information you choose to share is used for the stated purpose only.

Personal data (name, email address) collected when you sign up for the email list is managed by SendinBlue and stored securely on their servers in France. Their privacy policy can be found here. A backup copy of this data is stored privately on Google Drive (read their privacy policy here) and added to SendinBlue via Zapier (read their privacy policy here). You may unsubscribe from the email list at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email or contacting Ashley Danyew directly at ashley [at] ashleydanyew [dot] com.

This Site was built with and is hosted and managed by Squarespace. Their privacy policy can be found here. Personal data (name, email address, username, password) collected or created when you enroll in an online course or workshop is managed by Podia Labs, Inc. Their privacy policy can be found here.

2. Financial Information

Ashley Danyew does not collect or store any financial information. Any financial information you provide in exchange for a service will be collected securely and stored solely by a third-party payment processing company (your choice of Stripe or PayPal). The processing and storage of that data will be bound by the given payment processor's terms and conditions and privacy policy. Stripe's terms and privacy policy can be found here. 3. Cookies

This Site may use cookies to collect basic information about your location and connection to the Internet (e.g. your web browser's IP address, the date and time you access the Site, your activity on the Site, your general location and demographics, etc.). This enhances your browsing experience by increasing page-loading speed and provides useful analytical data to help deliver more relevant content to you and improve Site performance.

Cookies are stored securely by Squarespace and Google Analytics for up to 26 months before being deleted. For more, read Squarespace's cookie policy here and Google Analytics cookie policy here. Please read these Terms and Conditions before using www.ashleydanyew.com ("Site") and any of the online courses, programs, or workshops ("Courses") offered by Ashley Danyew. These terms outline the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of this Site and Courses.

1. License

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license (“License”) for your individual use of the online course, program, or workshop ("Course," "Courses"). You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, share, post, translate, sell, exploit, or distribute (including by email or other electronic means) any material from the Course(s). You may download and/or print a single copy of the resources, worksheets, and workbooks provided with the Course for your individual use, keeping the copyright notice intact. This License is for personal and individual use only. You may not assign or transfer your rights to another person or organization.

2. Fees and Refunds

Course fees are outlined on the Site. Ashley Danyew reserves the right to change these fees at any time.

Your satisfaction is important. As such, if you are not satisfied with the Course within 5 days of purchase, please contact ashley@ashleydanyew.com for a 75% refund. After 5 days, all course fees are non-refundable and no refunds will be given.

3. Warranty Disclaimer

Ashley Danyew makes no warranties for the Courses provided through this Site and any related content and resources. By signing up for a Course, you agree that all content and related materials are provided "as is" and without warranties, express or implied. No warranty is provided that Courses will be uninterrupted, complete, or error-free. No guarantees are made regarding the use of Courses or results that follow in terms of accuracy, usability, relevancy, or otherwise.

4. TERMINATING ACCESS

You have the right to terminate your use and access to any Course at any time. Please email ashley@ashleydanyew.com to begin this process.

All text, graphics, photographs, videos, opinions, ideas, printables, workbooks, worksheets, and other resources, are the property of Ashley Danyew and any guest authors and is protected from unauthorized use, copying, distribution and dissemination by U.S. Copyright law and other intellectual property laws.   • Access the Course for your personal use; 
  • Download and/or print any Course materials for your individual use; and
  • Use copyrighted materials included in the Course with advance written consent from Ashley Danyew and proper credit. 

You may not: 

  • Sell or transfer your access to the Course; 
  • Share the Course with someone who has not yet purchased it; 
  • Reprint or republish the Course, in part or whole;
  • Distribute any of the materials and/or communications provided in the Course and claim it as your own; 
  • Duplicate or modify the Course, in part or whole, and claim it as your own; and
  • Claim ownership over any intellectual property related to the Course, including: course materials, worksheets, workbooks, and video lessons; Course titles, logos, taglines, branding, and related communication and marketing materials.
